Contract Services for Schools

Aspen Speech Therapy contracts with public, private and charter schools to provide speech therapy services designated to each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP). Our services help prevent, identify, evaluate and treat communication disorders. We provide direct and consultative contract speech/language evaluations and pull-out speech therapy programs. Our speech therapists can immediately fill available speech-therapist positions for long-term contracts or for any other reason such as increased caseloads or maternity leave. Our speech therapists can provide comprehensive assessments, individualized group therapy, IEP development and paperwork, ARD meetings and collaboration with teachers, parents and the special education team. We can help by providing mandated speech pathology services to children for long and short term contracts depending on your school’s needs.

*Please call for individual rates. All services are billed hourly.

Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing:

Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) is a well-established technique that has revolutionized the field of dysphagia diagnostics. FEES is a sensitive, accurate, portable, and safe examination that yields clinically useful information relative to swallowing physiology and swallowing safety. The procedure involves passing a flexible endoscope across the floor of a patient’s nasal passage into the pharynx so that the larynx, pharynx and upper esophageal opening are viewed directly from above. .
This is a portable exam that can be conducted in an office or transported to a facility,
hospital or physician’s office.

Individualized FEES / FEESST Training Programs are available.

Program:
Provides an understanding of the FEES and FEESST procedures and geared towards the more experienced clinician.

Program Reviews and Objectives:
Risks associated with this procedure are observing normal versus abnormal swallows
utilizing endoscopic images; interpret findings, usage of the equipment, managing
patients with dysphagia, safe procedures in passing the endoscope, also billing
procedures and current CPT codes associated with the FEES / FEESST.

Depending upon clinicians experience the FEES/FEESST training will be customized.
